Our Founder

Principal Phil Horton has over 30 years of Equipment & Business Finance experience he has the expertise, knowledge and most of all relationships to take your Business further. Commencing his Finance career with Australian Guarantee Corporation (AGC – a member of the Westpac Group) Phil quickly moved is way into management roles that saw him at one stage looking after southern Central Queensland region around Gladstone/Callide Valley out to the Central West region of Longreach.

This gave him particular grounding in not only mining; manufacturing and civil earthworks, the region is heavily agriculture based and cattle; wheat; cotton and other broad-acre farming became his speciality. Moving back to Brisbane in 1996, Phil headed the Rental & Operating Lease area of AGC/Westpac in Queensland where he acquired further skills in modern finance products. Phil commenced his finance brokering career in 2000.

“AGC” was a great company, a wonderful teacher, they instilled the values of excellent customer service, along with attention to detail, however their main driver was relationships, Know Your Customer, Understand their business and Deliver what they want, not what we think they need.” Phil commented. “today, those values are still with me after 30 odd years, the basics have never
changed.
